Possible sighting in Dulwich woods today but no luck in finding her

I was in the woods today and saw the posters for Peggy. There was a daschund in the woods today wearing a harness but it was with a couple and they were calling it 'Hero' I think so not Peggy I'm afraid. I am keepin an eye out though and will try to get to the woods again tomorrow so will keep an eye out for her.

Yes, bonniebird, now that you say it , I think it was Called Zero, not Hero! I just didn't want Peggy's owner to have false hope thinking it might be Peggy or to search for hours in the woods on a false lead.

im afraid practically all the posters about peggy have been removed but please keep a look out for her. if she has been stolen ....

I, and I am sure every other dog owner/walker are keeping their eyes peeled. I cannot imagine how awful this is for you. Fingers crossed she will be home soon.

Thank you but absolutely nothing so far I'm afraid. I have put a lot more posters up but the street cleaners and park people take them down.

Let's hope she is being "looked after" somewhere and will need to go to a vet and will be scanned.

A dachshund was stolen in Camberwell area a few days ago... local gossip is that a man in a van is driving round looking for small dogs.

I am concerned that parks and ckeaners are taking down descriptions for lost and missing animals. This seems cruel and unecessary to owners who will already be distressed. I am tempted to ask Councillors for an explanation.

I hope you are reunited with your girl soon.
