I can't help but love this forum!


I went to work last night and my manager told me someone had come in on Saturday night asking if BarryRoad was working!


Well, I only have 3 more shifts for certain (see 'Absolute Favourite Biscuits' thread), but I'll have a large red wine ready for you if you pop in when I'm working :-)


Jokes about me earning commission on new business also popped up when my next door neighbour (met on the photo meet, not over the garden wall!) came in with friends yesterday!

      Highly recommend Greg from Raven Plumbing & Heating, who I found through this forum. He was immediately responsive, great communication and super speedy arrival time, even on a bank holiday! He diagnosed and fixed a leak in record time. Extremely friendly and professional, made me feel much better about a stressful situation - will definitely work with him again!

      I think the thread title is a bit overdramatic there’s thousands of CICs in the UK.  Hopefully, I don’t sound naive when I say that sometimes this sort of set up is a way to reach hard to reach people without the bureaucracy of more formal organisations.
