Top tips for a short honeymoon in Barcelona and Paris

Hi Everyone,

We?re off to Barcelona for 4 nights in mid October, travelling by train so we?re stopping in Paris for 2 nights on the way back.

This is our honeymoon and the first holiday we?ve had in years without our 2 young kids. Needless to say, it?s a bit of a treat! We?ve both been to both city?s before but not together. Looking for top tips on restaurants, things to do which aren?t the obvious or any general tips to make the most of this rare opportunity. We?re booked into central hotels in both.

Top tip no. 1: If you go to Sagrada Familia - and you definitely should - you can buy tickets from the ATMs, which cuts out of hours of queuing

Top tip no. 2: Keep hold of your bags/wallets/phones in Barcelona, especially if you are on La Ramblas. Thieves and pickpockets everywhere.
