Ko
Hi all. I am thinking of buying a Bee secondhand. I'm just wondering if anyone knows if the warranty passes to the new owner? I was looking at one on Ebay, but the seller said she thought the warranty didn't pass because it was registered to her address. Any advice / expereince of this would be very much appreciated x Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7700-has-anyone-bought-a-bugaboo-2nd-hand-and-then-used-the-warranty/ Share on other sites
MelanieRose
Warranty IS warranty...Just because someone "gives" something to a "friend" - just say - does not mean that the warranty becomes invalid! Make sure that you get the original receipt though as proof of address means nothing and proof of purchase means everything. After all when was the last time you were asked for proof of address when you tried to return something in a shop? All they are after is proof of purchase.I would, however, not quote me on that ;-) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7700-has-anyone-bought-a-bugaboo-2nd-hand-and-then-used-the-warranty/#findComment-241467 Share on other sites
Ko
thanks for the reply melanie. i too would have thought that the guarantee attaches to the pram rather than the person. as you say, as long as you have the receipt all should be fine. many thanks x Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7700-has-anyone-bought-a-bugaboo-2nd-hand-and-then-used-the-warranty/#findComment-245035 Share on other sites
