Baby activities

Can anyone recommend any local fun for a 1-year old on Wednesdays and Thursdays? We have grandparents looking after our little one from October and would like to book a class to give them a short break during the day!;-)

We know about bookstart and the Dulwich Library sessions on these two days, which are also good options - but any other recommendations would be appreciated.

I'd suggest leapers, it's tues and weds, IIRC. At Rye Oak primary.

The one o'c club at CP is open mornings, too and very good (but not free)

The one o'c club at P Rye (Pms only) is good, but a it too small for wet days.

Would they be up for taking him swimming?

If you want to book a class, sign and sign is the best, IMO, and runs many sessions in a week.

Also you could check out Whippersnappers music group (if the grandparents can put up with the noise!), their website has details. There's other music groups as well like Monkey Music, if your baby is that way inclined! You have to pay for most of them unfortunately but they're good fun and easy entertainment for an hour or so

CP one o'c club is very restful. Lovely staff... and can walk round the park, see the animals, go to swings after, and there's a cafe (though they do drinks etc in the one o'c club)

I really recommend it. They do art and stuff and have a lovely play house.

There's a toddler/baby group at St johns church thurs morns 10-1130ish

Great bunch of people and tea and coffee for 50p each.

Nice to watch the children interact with others of similar age.

Its the road behind goose green park, the green not the swings.

I believe it is still part of east dulwich road
