Hi everyone does anyone have a recommendation for someone loca (ish) who can deal with drains- I don't want to go to a big conpany if there is someone specialised Locally. It's just for one drain outside which doesn't seem to drain well- possible blockae somewhere along the route.....

Thanks!

Hi! I can now recommend Dave from down the drain too! He was responsive and came over bang on time, and didn't even charge me as he investigated that there wasn't a real problem- but he gave me some advice for something else for free too. ill have no doubts who to ring in the future, thanks again EDF!

    • Hi, does anyone have their up to date number please?
    • I imagine Franco Manca's business dropped off quite a bit when Yard Sale opened (though isn't Yard Sale delivery only?) But in any case, both of those are chains.
    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.  That's good of Sainsburys! We've done the apple pie and tart thing, an ongoing muesli thing and the coleslaw thing - just not sure what effect all the sugars are having on our digestive tracts.  If we were in Somerset and had a press, I'd consider it. Can't be that diffcult, can it?
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
