Eastern Delight Chinese

I would say it is a perfectly sound, entry level Chinese (not unlike Mr Liu) and what you see is what you get: ie it is not Hakkasan. It is a pity they can't persuade more folks to sit down for dinner (as opposed to collecting takeaways) because like the OP we've been the only diners on the occasions when we've visited.

Don't be silly, it was far from awful! It was a great deal better than anything else on offer in term of Chinese in ED. There has always been a problem with that venue. Indian Mischief was great but didn't last the course.

Chopsticks - I had one OK meal there (helped by sitting in the nice garden on a warm evening with several beers), and another which was indeed bloody awful. Overall no great loss. But better than Eastern Delight.
