Walworth Rd accident

There was a big snarl up about 5 pm after a cyclist knocked down a pedestrian. She seemed to be hurt but not that badly. She was taken away in an ambulance (not the nee-naw type, but I am sure she didn't mind). The cyclist was a 'proper' cyclist - thin-wheeled bike, lycra, helmet, cleats, reflective sash, Oakley wraparounds. There was speculation that the woman was newly arrived in the country as she panicked and forgot that our traffic drives on the left, according to the cyclist. Nero

My mum did that once (forgot the way the traffic went in the UK) and got knocked down in Fort William.

Didn't notice any snarl-ups until Camby Green when it all got horribly ugly. No incidents, just gridlock and unhappy people

Did give me time to check out some posters where I got a vague idea that Jo Brand is doing some human cannonball thing on the green soon? Or maybe I daydreamt it?

No, it happened on the road on the left hand side, about 30 yards away from M and S in the direction of C Green. Nero

I cycle up there fairly regularly and people are always wandering onto the road without looking for cyclists.
