A 1970s clip shows a man waking up in bed and a "Home Computer Terminal" beside his bed. It looks like a large typewriter.

The commentary says: "Before he gets up he can field the questions of the world from his home". He does this in his 1970s pyjamas.

If you look very carefully at the typewriter, you can see on the front in very small letters the word "blackberry". Aaaarrrgh.

My Nan always used to say "where I am today, you will be tomorrow. And where you are now, I was yesterday"

She was Greek and learnt to speak English in Liverpool so it sounded dead funny. She also used to get it the wrong way round which made me laugh too but I always smiled when she said it.

    • If you care about the decline in the swift population please support the lovely Hannah Bourne-Taylor in her campaign to mandate 'swift bricks' in all new properties   From her website: What are swift bricks? Zero maintenance and sustainable, swift bricks are bricks that sit flush to the wall that provide a cavity nesting habitat for swifts and other cavity nesting birds. Surveys show species include House martins, starlings, House sparrows, nuthatch, blue tit, coal tit and wren. Why swift bricks are urgently and uniquely essential Without swift bricks there is no guaranteed nesting habitat for birds reliant on building cavities anywhere in the UK – and there never will be. We are inadvertently destroying their oldcavity nesting sites through renovation, demolition and insulation, while climate mitigation measures mean modern buildings will never provide natural homes for birds. https://hannahbournetaylor.com/
    • I'm not on the WhatsApp group ,and he only appears every now and again but does look like he's needs a good home and is not neutered.
    • Why are you so rude? What has race got to do with anything? That's got nothing to do with whether or not a description is posted on here  The OP said the cyclist was being pursued by the police. If that's the case, then the police will presumably have his  description, including skin colour  If you think you encountered the same cyclist and could have been seriously hurt, then tell the police. And you have lost your bet, btw. You know nothing at all about me or my background except what I have posted on this forum,  and are making assumptions based on what appears to be a total lack of understanding of the reasons for my posts.
    • Worth posting on local street Whatsapp groups? Guessing no info from door knocking.  Those def look like unneutered Tom cat cheeks. Would be brilliant if a rescue could trap and at least neuter and return if he's a stray. Ideally find him a home - he'll settle more when neutered. Poor chap xxx    HP
