GCSE maths & English for adults private candidates

My partner is looking for an exam centre for the external candidates to take exams of maths & English GCSEs.

Does anyone knows a centre which specialises in exams and allows private candidates to sit them? please let me know.

whenever I used to invigilate in secondary school there were always odd strangers of different ages sitting exams...you may want to phone local secondary schools or colleges

Yes I think it's quite common - you're called an external candidate and just arrange it with the school or collage beforehand if they accept external candidates.
