oimissus
can anyone recommend a small venue for around 16 children? Numbers are just a few too many for our house, but we won't be getting an entertainer or anything so we just need a small, not-too-expensive place to hold our DIY party in. Peckham/Camberwell.Thanks! midivydale
How old are they oimissus? One o clock club is a good place for that number I think. Not everyones cup of tea but we have been to some lovely parties there although perhaps better for younger children? gebbjane
The upstairs room at the albrighton centre is a nice size for that number -and use of kitchen. Also there is the one o'clock club at myatt fields - the mulberry centre that can be used at weekends. oimissus
thanks both. It's for 5 and 6 year olds. Both those suggestions are a bit far away from us - the nearest place to us would be the baptist church on Bushey Hill Road but I worry that we'd be rattling around in there! But maybe they'd just like being able to race around in a nice big space. When we looked in to this it was ?75 for the rental. We didn't go for it though as the total price can add up quite quickly as you have to then buy all the food and drinks for the kids through the venue. oimissus
thanks both. I've been to winter parties at the Herne and my experience was that it was very cold in there! Plus at least 3 children (including my daughter) are veggie and there was no veggie option other than just a plate of chips at the parties I went to, though that might have changed. I don't want to fork out for their food anyway, tbh, money is quite tight right now. That kind of size is good though.
