dulwichplayers
Due to be performed in a church, T. S. Eliot's Murder in the Cathedral will bring the dark and dangerous world of medieval England to St. Bartholomew?s, Sydenham. Candlelight and live choral music will provide the atmospheric setting for Eliot?s verse drama that dramatically tells the story of the assassination of Archbishop Thomas Becket in 1170. Eliot?s play is an extraordinary and moving look at events we know all too well. His play weaves beauty with horror to produce a visceral and compelling tale. It's on from 11-14 November at 8pm and the nearest station to the church is Sydenham. Whilst performed in Sydenham, the play is formed of Dulwich Players actors and crew.?10 (?12 on the door)Tel: 07936 531356 Email: [email protected]Art Stationers, Dulwich Village, SE21, or on the door (subject to availability)
