Hi all,

I am expecting my first baby in May next year and have just started pregnancy yoga with Lindi Lu - I thought it might be an idea to post on here as this may be a good opportunity to meet other local mums to be?

I have been doing regular yoga with Lindi for a while and cannot recommend her and her classes enough - it is absolutely the most relaxing part of my week! I am currently attending a class on Wednesday evenings. You can contact Lindi for more details on:

Lindi Lu, [email protected] or call 07957 718 637

Hope to maybe meet some of you there.

Michelle

Hi, I'm expecting my 2nd on 29th Feb which is probably still 'winter' but I was late last time (this is my 2nd) so placing bets on a spring baby. I would love to meet up with you all. I can't make this Sun (6th) but will follow and hopefully manage to catch-up on the next date. Hope all well. x
I'm expecting my first baby too on March 9th. We are currently living in Herne Hill but are hoping to move to East Dulwich very soon. I would be really keen to meet other mums in the area but unfortunately cannot make this Sunday. Will follow this thread though and would be keen to come along another time.

    • This week's edition of The Briefing Room I found really useful and impressively informative on the training aspect.  David Aaronovitch has come a long way since his University Challenge day. 😉  It's available to hear online or download as mp3. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002n7wv In a few days time resident doctors -who used to be known as junior doctors - were meant to be going on strike. This would be the 14th strike by the doctors’ union since March 2023. The ostensible reason was pay but now the dispute may be over without more increases to salary levels. The Government has instead made an offer to do something about the other big issue for early career doctors - working conditions and specialist training places. David Aaronovitch and guests discuss what's going on and ask what the problem is with the way we in Britain train our doctors? Guests: Hugh Pym, BBC Health Editor Sir Andrew Goddard, Consultant Gastroenterologist Professor Martin McKee, Professor of European Public Health, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine Mark Dayan, Policy Analyst, Nuffield Trust. Presenter: David Aaronovitch Producers: Caroline Bayley, Kirsteen Knight, Cordelia Hemming Production Co-ordinator: Maria Ogundele Sound Engineers: Michael Regaard, Gareth Jones Editor: Richard Vadon
