Dan Maitland runs a great wedding band. He's been involved in a couple of weddings and numerous local events this year. He's local to East Dulwich. I'll see if I can find his email address for you

I can recommend Chavo... They are a local band and play upbeat folk/ Balkan music... Very dancey.

They have done lots of weddings and recently launched a new album.

depends what sort of music you want? I went to a wedding recently in Farnborough but the band turned out to be from Forest Hill. Played killers, Arctic Monkeys, Jam, Florence & Machine etc

We just got married and had The Hares - they're based in Forest Hill and really were brilliant - they're also quite versatile so you're able to pick what kind of set up you want (band size/electric/accoustic etc and music style) - we had a soloist for the drinks reception, 3 piece accoustic band after dinner and then they DJ'd for us. www.thehares.co.uk

They travel all over for weddings so may well be the ones that SE15mum is referring too.
