After our sold out October half term activities, Nimble Arts is back with some creative Christmas fun for 4-11 year olds, with our first ever festive holiday clubs!

Nimble Arts is a local Ofsted registered organisation, and we have a creative, inclusive and high quality ethos, working with professional workshop leaders and our lovely Nimble pastoral team to provide top notch creative activities for young people at our clubs. Workshops run 10 - 4 each day, with free wraparound care from 8.30 - 5.00pm, and an optional late film club until 6pm. Four year olds can choose either a morning (9-1) or afternoon (1-5) 4 hour session, and our early years group has support from qualified EY teachers throughout.

Some recent feedback about our clubs:

?Thanks so much for last Tuesday?s band workshop. Evie enjoyed it so much and can?t stop talking about it.? Ian, Parent

?Just thought I?d pass on that D said today was fantastic ? and the best day of her half term by some way!? Emma, Parent

?As a granny responsible for some fetching and taking of two participants, I just wanted to say how impressed I was by the teachers running the course. They were so gentle, friendly and positive and understood brilliantly my rather quirky 8-year-old grand-daughter. How wonderful if all primary school teachers could be like them!? Brigid, Grandparent

?they also loved the band who came in on Tuesday, it?s really the best holiday club they?ve ever been to!? Parent

Via Twitter: ?I love Nimble Arts, it?s the best holiday club in the area by far!? #eastdulwich

From the East Dulwich Forum: ?It?s really very good ? they do absolutely loads and it?s very creative and fun.?

?Just wished to thank you for the awesome 3 days R had with you on the Half term holidays. He was really happy about participating in so many artistic activities, he brought plenty of ?stuff? home which is obviously on the wall for everyone to see. R is very active and artistic boy and this camp was just perfect with such professional and smiley staff! We are returning for Summer!? Parent, May 2015

    • Yes they do, but that is not the core tenet of representative democracy. At that level, we are voting for a parliamentary representative, irregardless of whether parties exist or not. It's why candidates can stand as independents.
    • Sadly I think you will never convince people like this. They think gardens have to be kept chopped back and controlled. My theory is that this comes from being (or trying to be) controlling in every aspect of their lives, so I doubt if anything you could say or show them would have any effect. But are they actually coming into your garden or leaning over into it and pulling up/damaging things? If so, maybe one of our community police people could have a word with them?
    • Dear Nature lovers - advice please. I am being harassed by a neighbour who doesn't like my standard of gardening which she calls 'messy'. (I have rewilded my garden with advice from the London Wildlife Trust and a gardening expert from The Times.) I have twice caught this neighbour and her husband pulling up my plants and damaging my trees. Plus she has photographed my house, and sent a dozen complaints to the Dulwich Estate about my plan to rewild the verge outside my property - approved by the Estate some 4 years ago in line with their stated policy of supporting biodiversity in and around Dulwich. What can I do to introduce these neighbours  to the benefits to us all of returning a portion of our gardens to nature?
