blacklashez
Hi! My son is in need of speech therapy . He's 2 years old. The health visitor has refereed him however they said it can take upto 18 weeks to get an appointment. Does anyone know of a playgroup or private sessions that I can take son to? I really can't wait 18 weeks and want to help him asap! Any advice would be much appreciated. kristyl
There are Chatter Time sessions at children's centres. They are run by speech and language therapists, who can usually provide one on one guidance and weekly tips. They helped my son and were able to refer him for speech therapy. He then had the same therapist that ran the sessions we attended at Bessemer Grange. midivydale
Chattertime is lovely, I would really recommend them. I took my son when he was 3 as he still has some pronounication issues and they are really lovely.
