  1. HI there, My daughter is selling her Sylvanian Families Barge Boat and a number of characters (22 in total) for £25. See attached pics. Collection from SE22. PLease message directly if interested. Thanks
  2. Purse found on Adys road. Anyone know Susannah Milburn?
  3. I left a note on the bins explaining and told people I found moving them about the bay. I do think talking to each other in real life is the way forward, as I would happily have explained my actions regarding the bins. I am sure my new neighbour doesn?t feel particularly welcomed by this thread. The barriers have been moved and I am sure he will be mindful of this going forward.
  4. Hi, I believe these are my neighbours. I explained about the thread this morning, so the barriers have been moved. They were unaware of the parking issues on the street, as they haven?t lived here yet(people having two cars is the major issue). They didn?t want to block the road for deliveries, but will do so going forward. They haven?t put out any bins since they bought the place three weeks ago. I did, several times during lockdown under the guidance of the council due to a delayed disabled bay. I did tell people I was waiting for the bay, but it didn?t deter them moving the bins. The bay has now been installed, so no more bins. Do feel free to knock on if you have issues.
  5. No car involved. Man with a gun tackled and taken away by ambulance. All very shocking.
  6. I went this week. I got there just after 8am and it wasn't busy at all. I believe their hours are 7.30am-3pm
  7. Hi There, Looking for someone to clean our gutters in SE22. Any recommendations? Thanks,
  8. Hi there, We used Yes Glazing and are very happy with the result/price.
  9. The police were out on Saturday evening looking for the owner and dogs, as they asked me for information. I hope this is solved soon.
  10. I have emailed too, as I have had a number of packages go missing too. It is a massive pain, but I have requested virtually everything to be sent to my place of work.
  11. Hi there, Any recommendations for a children's entertainer for a near 6 year old? Thanks, kristy
  12. Hi there, I need to purchase an internal Aluminium window and door, can anyone recommend a company they have previously used? Thanks, kristy
  13. Hi there, I have lost my Irish claddagh ring. It is gold and child size (given to me aged 10 by my nana). It is 29 years old and worth nothing, but full of sentimental value to me. I think it has fallen off my little finger in East Dulwich. Please PM if you find it. Thanks Kristy
  14. Have you checked your home insurance, as this will often cover pest control.
  15. Hi there, Looking to extend our kitchen and re do our bathroom. Any recommendations for companies/builders would be gratefully received. Thanks
  16. JAGS have bouncy castle parties with other toys/sporting equipment available in their gym. They have 3 party slots on Saturday's and Sunday's. Harris Girls school also offer bouncy castle parties on saturday's only. I have had parties at both for my kids and they all seemed to love it.
  17. Thanks Rendelharris, I will purchase them today!
  18. Hi all, Bit of a weird one, but we inherited a large American style fridge when we moved into our house. It has been placed in our kitchen on some plywood in a cupboard type space. We need to move the fridge out and I have no idea how we are going to do it. Any ideas? Anybody know anyone we can pay to help do this? Thanks, Kristy
  19. Thank you. Super helpful and your floor is stunning!
  20. Thanks for the recommendations, extremely helpful!
  21. I used them for 10+ years and they were great, until they ruined a coat. I tried to speak to them about it and was told in no uncertain terms where to go. A real shame.
  22. Hi there, Any recommendations for Parquet flooring companies? Thanks, kristy
  23. We used Easigrass too. I have some shock pads/underlay left if you want them?
  24. My husband grew up in Brighton and all his family still live there, so we visit at least once a month. Preston Park is lovely and the primary schools surrounding are very good in that area. I like Hove a lot, but the primary schools are not great unless you are going private. As another poster said the secondary schools are not as good in Brighton. We have thought about moving there, but we love ED. Our children are settled and we can go at the weekend if we want! The commute is awful, (Brighton to London) All of our friends constantly moan about southern trains. If you want a change of lifestyle then consider your options. However once you move it would be very hard to get back into the london property market.
