We have a spare cot mattress available, in large plastic storage bag. This is the mattress: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/50152878/

Very handy as a spare or for young kids to nap on/sleep on floor if you have a house full (our 5 year old has kipped on it when we have had lots of guests).
