Vw Golf GTI mk4 - new MOT

Hi, I'm selling my golf, going to be traveling with work so need a quick sale. I had it MOTDd last month and it passed with no problems. It's a 1999 model, petrol 2ltr, 145k miles. It's in good condition with a few scratches here and there. Starts first time and has had no problems mechanically. The drivers window motor needs fixing and the rear wing has a little paint peel - cosmetic only, no rust (see photo). Great car and will go on for a long time yet. Make me a sensible offer. ?550.

Thanks

James

    • Doing the outside - pointless Internally - dread to think what the condition is. And as they say, you can't polish a turd.
    • It's been suggested on the other thread that Stonegate are due to hand back to DE in September and there may be clauses in the contract about the condition it has to be handed back in
    • I suspect it may have been an end of lease requirement on the lessee. Probably negotiated with the ground landlord (Dulwich Estate) as to what should be done. Considering that they are not handing back a viable building for immediate re-leasing.
    • So over the last few days the old Harvester at the top of the lane has been cleaned up.  They’ve cut down all the trees and cleared the front then this morning there is a cherry picked painting all the hoardings.    Do we think the council has finally told Dulwich Estate to clean it up and stop it from being an eye sore or do we think it’s been cleaned because it’s been sold or it’s on the market?
