Decorating with Plywood

Has anyone been brave enough to use plywood decoratively. It's a fairly new housing trend that I really like. I'm thinking of it in the kitchen and if I'm brave enough, as flooring. Would love to hear of any successes or failings in this. Photos great fully received.

I too am thinking of doing this, so very interested to hear if anyone has put it up on their walls.

Did you oil it or stain it or leave it natural?

Did you screw, nail or glue it to the wall?

I had this idea a while ago, after seeing it in a bathroom. Never did it though.

Marine ply? Think you are supposed to use yacht varnish on it to waterproof it.

Some friends have plywood units in their kitchen which look lovely, and ply fitted shelving in their living room alcoves which also looks good; friends of friends have also recently done their kitchen cabinets in ply and I'm stalking on instagram but theirs doesn't look as good, darker rougher finish.

We are probably going that route - but the kitchen won't be finished until March, so I can't email you pics.

I've been looking at this too, as we are about to get our kitchen done. Would be really interested in seeing the result. Also, if you could recommend any kitchen builders to get quotes on, that would be much appreciated.
