We are undertaking a small building project. Whilst we don't need a very hands on CA, we would like to get someone who knows their stuff to do a little bit of overseeing (i.e. signing the major things off and checking that things have been actually done). If anyone has any ideas of where to look for someone like this please get in touch!

Angela Lyon Orbital Chartered Surveyors offers both renovations and full build service and project management of varying scales. I think it could be worth having a chat with her.

She has over 30 years of both residential and commercial buildings experience. You can reach her on 0208 679 6363.

I don't have the time or the inclination to do the research, but I'm pretty sure that I have read  that when people who had lived in a very run down area  were given  nice surroundings, they appreciated and looked after them.
