Hello, we are looking for a bright, energetic and loving person to help us care for our newborn twins, starting in January.

The boys are 11 weeks old and will be 4 months in January.

The role is to be an extra carer, work along side me to help feed, change and care for the boys. As they get older to help with weaning, outings and playtime.

Also to keep the nursery tidy, doing to boys washing, bottles etc.

This is ideally a live in position. My husband and I have a four bedroom house so there is plenty of space, and you will have your own double bedroom room. Initially a 1 month trial and the position would be 6 months-1 year to be reviewed after then. If you are local then live out will be considered too.

We really need someone who is happy to muck in and be flexible on hours if we need you for an evening here and there if they boys won't settle etc.

If you're happy to cook a few meals and help with light shopping that would be ideal.

We have a large friendly dog so you must be confident with dogs.

Look forward to hearing from you! Please PM me with your CV and a bit about you.

    • If like me you are a regular user of the Post Office then you don't need telling that the Lordship Lane branch is broken.  The average wait time recently has been 45 minutes but today it was over an hour.  The only way to get improvement is for the Post Office to receive a significant number of complaints about this branch.  Please find below a link to the Post Office complaints portal.  If it makes you feel better, make your complaint whilst waiting in the queue and make sure to pass the link on to others in the queue.  The branch is at 74-76 Lordship Lane, London, SE22 8HH (you will need this for the form). The link is  https://www.postoffice.co.uk/contact-us/in-branch-customer-experience A word of warning - whilst looking for Post Office complaints portal I kept on being redirected to Royal Mail complaints.  Do not complain to Royal Mail - this is not a Royal Mail issue it is a Post Office issue.  I think the Post Office is being quite crafty on its website because it makes it's complaints portal hard to find and keept redirecting to Royal Mail. Also, I politely ask that you do not rant at the staff in the branch.  I am sure each and every working day for them is hellish.  Branch staff are powerless so ranting achieves nothing and slows down the queue even more. I think it is important for all of us to complain and not suffer in silence.  Effectively we have lost a local service as it is unviable.
    • They haven’t all been collected and it’s very much a problem if you are using a pavement and there is an obstruction - particularly if you are visually impaired, in a wheelchair or pushing a buggy.
    • I'm not surprised that Niko has so many recommendations here; he came round a couple of hours after I called him and fixed a very fiddly dislodged trap under my shower tray. I thought it might have meant taking part of the kitchen ceiling down to get to it, but he was able to fix it without any major disruption. He was really knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and what I needed to do post repair. All at a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend.
