Hi EDF,

I posted on this forum recently about not using the the ATM at Teacos(wrong location thou) East Dulwich road. To give you an update.

They stole ?500 from the ATM

Retrieved the card from the ATM and went on a shopping spree at currys on the Old Kent Road spending ?350

The bank have reimbursed all my money

Not once have i been contacted by the fraud squad or police with reference to the fraud.

Please when using using a ATM cover the keypad with your purse or wallet or even better a newspaper, and watch out for people behind you. As i stated the money is reimbursed within 24 hours but the inconvenience is a problem if you need money there and then.

I informed the bank who put me through to the Bank fraud squad, i think the bank may well inform the police but in not sure they will, rather annoyingly the person is almost surely on camera as he used the card in the shop.

Yes that's what I was thinking (person being on the Curry's) CCTV. But unfortunately you have to inform the police yourself.
