I was happy to see the news today that the Charter School ED has a new temporary building on the site of the former Lewisham and Southwark College campus on Southampton Way SE5. Looks like a good site with potential for the school to get off to a good start from day one. They still plan to move to the Dulwich Hospital site for September 2018 and the admissions policy will stay the same.

I'm wondering if this will mean a wider intake will be possible in September 2016. Does anybody know? Would be great if the school could be six forms of entry from 2016 as I think this was the original intention for the school.

    • Yes let's not be distracted in this thread by national goings on, as local news has taken another twist today: https://southwarknews.co.uk/area/southwark/exclusive-southwark-labour-in-crisis-as-regional-party-orders-leadership-election-re-run-due-to-proxy-vote-rule-breach/ It's almost as if someone high up in the Labour Party is on this forum and learnt something new from this thread...
    • Harsh. Cry babies cry for no reason, she's crying cos she's clearly exhausted, she's massively ballsed things up and is being chronically briefed against by her own MPs in the press and she knows the PM - Morgan McSweeney - and his deputy - Keir Starmer - are about to hang her out to dry.  I reckon she'll be gone by Friday.
    • Strange reply post. Cry babies are unfit for political purpose, and should be nowhere near a Government position, especially in today's global environment!
    • The wheels do seem to be falling off for this government very quickly and my worry is that the far-left of Labour will be licking their chops and will try to force a leadership change and all that will do is pave the way for Reform (always interesting at these times to see who is not putting themselves forward and happy to slip into the shadows from the cabinet). Scary ,scary times. Starmer has got to get a grip but his leadership and cabinet are being undermined every single day. One year in - what a mess - didn't Starmer tell us they had been preparing for 14 years for this - clearly they needed more time?
