Walked through the rain to get there 10 mins after it opened this morning. Left the pushchair outside and had coffee and croissants with my little boy. The staff were friendly and helpful - the atmoshere very civil. Loads of people enjoying cooked breakfasts and coffees, not a sign of dissent in the house.

The trick is to go there when it is not busy and the staff ain't frazzled!

Popped in there last Wed to feed up before trip and we had a couple of big breakfasts with extras- went there after the recent comments on here and realised I hadn't been for a while so felt it only fair

And it was aces - very busy considering earlyish AM on a weekday I thought but the staff were on good form too...

    • Well thanks for enriching the conversation.  Would you chuck Fah - rage in too for his tax avoidance on his property?   I expect it was lead story on Jeremy Vine too.  Doesn't make it a story, just a bit more of BBC tabloid style sensationalism.  There are numerous real news stories in the UK and across the world.  And now, apt for Halloween, you have summoned up the ghost of Louisa. So for the third time, will you now eat humble pie?
