Kitchen Island

Kitchen Island, 2 metres long and 1 metre wide; Wooden painted body with a marble/granite top. Painted white. Four Drawers - two either side. The drawers are quite deep - we kept saucepans and deep salad bowls etc in them. The top overhangs about 0.5 metre so high stools can fit underneath and so it can be used as a breakfast bar. Sits three comfortably but could sit four ok for a cuppa!

This is dismantle able, and would need to be for transport as it doesn't fit through a normal door in one piece.

Its in great condition, we only used it for a year and now have relocated kitchen.

Not looking for payment for it but a charity donation of say ?100 would be great!

If you are interested please email and I can send photos by whatsapp or email if preferred.

Thanks

Ian

    • Oh yes, Dawson Heights is such a cool building! The location isn't right for us, but those flats are lovely. I'm determined to make it to The Modern House with our future not-yet-fashionable ex-LA flat, like some of the Dawson Heights residents did 🙂

Of course every new government comes in and says waste has to be reduced, efficiency increased, often with a tightening of purse strings. I'm talking UK here, But the US will surely have similar processes in place.  Obviously things go wrong from time to time, and that is what tends to make the papers/socials rather than the things that go right.  Foreign aid was cut from the target of 0.7% to 0.5%, following Covid, stats from two years ago are here (not a riveting read): https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/statistics-on-international-development-final-uk-aid-spend-2022/statistics-on-international-development-final-uk-aid-spend-2022
