Double sofa bed for sale

Recommended Posts

Our lovely double sofa bed is for sale.

Very comfy as a sofa and great for guests over the Christmas period.

This is a double chaise self assembly Nabru sofa. We bought the nice one with small arms and paid extra for better quality foam cushions and a sprung mattress. It's supposed to be a two seater but comfortably fits three and everyone can put their feet up.

It's a plum colour and is already dismantled for ease of transport. You can simply assemble it yourself and it's easy to fit into any awkward flat, you just take the bits in one by one and build it in the room. More info on Nabru's website on how to put one together https://www.nabru.co.uk/self-assembly?utm_expid=661452-44.ZXaYjQFvT-u3h5tXssQYyw.0&utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.nabru.co.uk%2Fdesign-your-own%3Fgclid%3DCj0KEQiAv5-zBRCAzfWGu-2jo70BEiQAj_F8oNEqR3hDB3H26BIW3X3Yj7WxR0kr7DD3uA1tNnDnSpIaAj7b8P8HAQ, but we have moved with it twice and it's been easy.

The chaise can be moved to left or right side so no need to commit!

There is a bit of wood broken off by a careless person early in its career inside the frame but it is not visible, noticeable or makes any difference to the use of the sofa or bed, and a zip on one of the covers is broken, again, we'd forgotten all about it as you can't see it until you take it apart. The plum colour has faded slightly in exposed areas due to sunny East Dulwich, but the colour is still very nice. With some cushions on I'd failed to notice. The images detail the condition.

We don't need a sofa bed any more so have gone for a more traditional sofa, but this one has served us well and has many happy years of use left. I imagine someone's spare room/office/playroom would appreciate it and a sofa bed is very handy if you don't have much room for a double bed the whole time. It was used most when we first moved in and made a good stand-in while we waited for our new bed to arrive, but with a double bed in the spare room it's not been used much since so is in very good nick.

Dimensions

Height 73cm

Width 197cm

Depth 135cm (chaise)

With bed mattress out it is 188cm deep

This is available now for a limited time! Pick up from Underhill Road: Thursday almost any time, or this weekend. Just in time for extra guests at Christmas. I regret I can't offer to pop it round due to a lack of motorised transport. I'd recommend a zip van or larger car as it is a double, even though it comes apart into smaller pieces.

    • Over the past few months, Jan from Silver Fern Landscapes has completed several projects for us.  (He was recommended by a neighbour.)  We have been very pleased with his work.  Some details are below: Built and replaced several trellis fence panels.  In one part it was very complicated due to a large vine that had grown into/around the trellis.  He was able to save the vine, having unpicked it from the old trellis and then securing it to the new.  The vine went into a bit of shock, but is now thriving. Repaired the top frame to our garden side-return door, replacing rotten wood, and repainting the new to match. Repaired the loose tiles in our front walkway Along the way, during his visits, Jan also gave advice on various topics, such as how to best care for: our recently re-planted lawn, a tree that lost a large branch, and the vine mentioned above.  His working style is straight forward...he shows up when he says he will, discusses what needs to be done, provides timely quotes, completes the work as agreed, and sends an invoice. No drama, no hassle.  We will definitely be calling on Jan again when future garden-related projects arise! silverfernlondon.co.uk/silver_fern_landscapes.html
    • I'm very sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in knowing that Carl has never been forgotten in our community.
    • Thank you, it seems to be a few mins from Albrighton Community Fridge so I'll split the load.
    • To be candid I know that the matter is still very upsetting and traumatic for my family so I haven't really looked into this at all. However, thank you for sharing the information regarding the coroner's inquest its a route I will definitely explore.
