No, we love the roofed one, very knobby but still great. BTW are the mad paiggio 3 wheeler truck versions still motor bikes. I want one of those ( you know what for *Bob*) Oh imagine 32 mph down Barry rd with a ton of Oak behind you, wind in your hair....

No, the roof ones are ghey, just wrong, very wrong. At least I sort of get the three wheeled jobs, esp with all the mulch on the roads right now. That will pass, though, and you're then just left with your slightly pointless, fairy tri-knobbervagen.

Anyway, none of this is the point of the thread - I'm attempting to identify the bikers, as meet ups and ride-outs can be fun, and the winters here, though cold, are generally dry and good for runs.

The Bikerz of SE22 seem to be a quiet lot.

I seem to remember someone else trying to organise ride-out / meet-ups some time back but interest was minimal.

Me and a friend were discussing piss-poor motorcycles which we'd been unfortunate enough to own - and he happened to mention the GN250 as a worthy contender. I was looking for a picture of it.

Well, I'll check in as a motorcyclist here. I commute every day on a VFR800 these days and do the occasional tour or trackday FWIW.

Still not sure as to the point of this thread though. Are you looking for people to go on a 'ride out' with? Do you want to meet up with other ED bikers outside the EDT of an evening and admire each others machinery while not drinking beer?

I love my motorbikes but have never really got this concept of identifying as a 'biker'. I can't stand biker meets or big group rides. They just seem a bit odd really.

Ah, I see... It's probably the heady allure of the female silhouette bulked out by plastic armour and Gore-tex, or maybe the mysterious veil of her race-replica Arai?

I prefer the frissance of seeing girls in thin summer dresses on Italian mopeds speeding around the perilous tarmac of the Elephant and Castle roundabout.

I doubt they count as 'bikers' though.
