Heroes: the volunteers from our very own East Dulwich Helpline who help to make our local senior citizens' lives a little better

Every time the Oscars or Baftas or Grammies or Brits come around - "patting on the back" season - I'm reminded of this wonderful quote from Absolutely Fabulous

"for God's sake, five hundred thousand troops were mobilized in the Gulf, and a war fought and won in less time, and without everyone included having a nervous breakdown and being sent flowers. It cannot be that difficult."

  I hadn't looked at the actual posts on Instagram. That's sad, then. The shop opening hours are still shown at the top of the page. I guess changing them wasn't uppermost in her mind under the circumstances.

  I want to recommend the kitchen fitters Top Marx kitchens. They were excellent from the communication, the planning and the fitting. John did a fantastic job of of fitting and worked around and solved many of the issues we had with Ikea who we purchased from. John gave lots of helpful advice and support. We would definitely use them again for any kitchen work. I have added before and after photos.
