Hi Everyone

Always a pleasure posting in the EDF so I wanted to announce my new January fitness challenge for 2016.

I'm Mike and I own and run the East Dulwich based PT Company "Mad4fitness" please feel free to check out my website www.mad4fitness.co.uk there are some wonderful testimonials on there from some of my clients and also some great info regarding training and nutrition.

The new year is a only a matter of days away and that's when most of us decide to get fit! So that's why I have decided to offer a very special deal starting on Monday 11th January for 20 days to finish on Friday 5th February.

So here's the deal ..... please read it in full, I think you will like it ..... but it will take commitment!

I am looking for 2 people to train together outside, whether its 2 people who know each other or 2 strangers, good way to meet people! Ideally you will have low fitness levels and be able to commit to 20 days training mon - fri for 4 weeks in a dedicated afternoon time slot TBC.

Here's where the commitment part comes in .......

The fee is ?800 each for 20 sessions, which works out at ?40 per session, this is actually ?5 per hour cheaper than my usual rate. BUT if you complete all 20 sessions without missing any at all then not only will you have gotten totally fit in 4 weeks but I would also like to feature you on my website.... AND you will also be refunded 50% of your fee as a thank you for your commitment to the 20 day challenge! Total fitness for less than half of what I usually charge .... is it Christmas or am I Mad? Yes its Christmas and this is Mad4fitness ... BUT here's the other side of the coin.. if you miss one of the sessions then you forfeit the 50% and it goes to the charity "SHELTER" That's right I don't keep a penny of that forfeited money! And any charity donations will be featured on my website along with relevant letter from SHELTER! There are obviously extreme circumstances that will be allowed to miss a session but guys this is where I want commitment, I seriously love my job and I want to change 2 peoples fitness at the start of a new and exciting year!

If you would like to be of the 2 people then please contact to register either ring me on 07979105236 or email me at [email protected] or even to find out more before committing.

Look forward to hearing from you

Best Regards

Mike

    • There are two causes for this problem Β  The first is that modern safety requirements for cars (to protect pedestrians and cyclists in collisions) mean huge amounts of excess spacing in crumple zones to provide a cushion on impact. For example, in the past a lot of pedestrians suffered catastrophic head injuries when they ran in front of a car, because the bonnet was close to the engine block, so their heads bent the bonnet into the solid immovable engine and their heads cam off worse. To mitigate that there is now a huge amount of flex and space so that the head is cushioned from the engine. Naturally, the rest of the body work and car frame has had to increase to accommodate this safety measure. Β  The second issue is electrification. Β  Electric cars are massive because they have to carry huge batteries around to make them work. Massive amounts of space and height is given over to batteries in electric cars. The new electric Renault 5 (described as a "compact" hatch back) is nearly 4 metres long 2 metres wide.Β  Β  That makes it longer and wider than the original Range Rover.Β
    • Pretentious status vehicles.Β  Last year I was trying to drive down my own street but, being in a little, inferior car, was expected to make way for a stream of SUVs / Chelsea tractors as they barged along beside me. After what felt like an age, I saw a window of opportunity, but was beaten to it by yet another tank. By this stage I was irate (I hate the things) and having a full on shouting match with myself behind the wheel.Β  A Tesla in the oncoming queue pulled in, flashed and courteously allowed me to take my moment. The Tesla's windows were tinted, but not so much that I wasn't able to make out the driver, as I passed him. I'd recognise that mega-watt smile anywhere. It was Peter Crouch, laughing and giving me the thumbs up, clearly entertained by my tantrum.Β
    • I recently had a utility room built, next to the kitchen. Dean Richards and his team carried out the works, they did a fantastic job. Thorough, with attention to every detail.Β  If you are considering an extension, refurbishment or renovation, Dean comes highly recommended.Β  Dean RichardsΒ  07888 651798 Β
