whenever i asked them for a leaflet so i can send off the donation. I couldnt, are these people genuine??

I go by that rule that any unsolicited requests for support or money are suspicious.

Choose your charity yourself and then approach them about how you can offer support.

though I know I've done the right thing but still feels guilty by turning them away
