Sadly our flat on lordship lane was burgled over Christmas and they stole all of my jewellery- most not expensive but a few very special and sentimental items that have left me gutted. Should anyone by any chance see or find any of the following items in pawn shops or around please please let me know. Thank you.

- gold religious pendant symbol necklace with the image of Mary and a smaller blue pendant from Lourdea-(belonged to my aunty who passed away)

- a gold diamond and sapphire trilogy ring

- a van cleef and arpels gold and mother of pearl long necklace

- a gold dkny watch

- a silver D & G watch

Also stolen.. A black kindle with a ted baker black cover and a Bose travel speaker with a pink cover

Very sorry to hear about your burglary.

It happened to my next door neighbour on Christmas Eve and lots more neighbours over the past months and couple of years.

Some of them were elderly and they were left feeling very vulnerable (I know I felt the same living next door).

Burglary and car crime seems on the up I'm afraid.

    • Hi, does anyone have their up to date number please?
    • I imagine Franco Manca's business dropped off quite a bit when Yard Sale opened (though isn't Yard Sale delivery only?) But in any case, both of those are chains.
    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.  That's good of Sainsburys! We've done the apple pie and tart thing, an ongoing muesli thing and the coleslaw thing - just not sure what effect all the sugars are having on our digestive tracts.  If we were in Somerset and had a press, I'd consider it. Can't be that diffcult, can it?
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
