Have a look at the good things to see in London thread and pick some. Or go to your nearest train station, buy a ticket, get the next train that comes in (unless it's your usual commuter train) and get off wherever you fancy and just go for a wonder and explore. Take a book and walk to a nice pub or cafe. Have lots of lie ins. Visit someone you haven't seen for a while. Do some DIY or gardening. Erm i can't think of any more, just do what takes your fancy at the time. Have a good week.
Go to World's End, walk along the river and around Chelsea Harbour, then get a number 11 all the way to Liverpool Street Station which takes you past a lot of touristy London, but then walk around the City, visit the Guildhall, go to St Paul's and climb up the Monument. Take a bus or DLR to Isle of Dogs and enjoy a walk around there and the City Farms all over the place. Get the tide times and walk along the River. Visit Kew Gardens. Do the Fullers Brewery Tour. Have a drink in a pub on the Strand on the Green. Walk around Green Park and St James's Park. Go to some fringe theatre. Go to Battersea and look at the power station close up. Look at the views from Blackheath Park. Walk around the Dome's perimeter and see the wildlife being encouraged on to the shores of the Thames by some good design within the river walls there. Take a river cruise. Ohhhhhhhh it's what I do!
Book some cookery/wine tasting/piano/riding/race track driving/hot air ballooning/whatever blows your hair back lessons and learn that new thing you've always thought you'd enjoy. Then book a personal shopper and a haircut and reveal the sexy new you just in time to meet Daizie at the EDF drinks.

A personal shopper is someone who takes you clothes shopping and produces a fabulous and groovy new you by dressing you in a fabulous and groovy way. Depending on the shopper of course. They might actually produce a troll in baggy knickers but that's not usually the look they go for.

Kind of Trinny and Susannah but, well, nice.

    • Due to unforeseeable  circumstances, we are unable to host the Forum Drinks for (probably) the next few months. If anyone else would like to take over on a temporary basis, book the space etc, please PM me on here!
    • May  I  suggest you read your posts through before you post them? I'm sorry your attempts at teaching blinds to see have failed. Perhaps it is because they are inanimate objects? And have no eyes? 🤣 May I also suggest that you find a different source of information - one  which presents you with accurate facts? But if you seriously think that Trump is "best us president of last 50 years" (your lower case, not mine) then sadly there is probably little anybody can do to help you.
    • There are many reasons that properties both private and council are empty and these numbers do not signify that they could be moved into tomorrow to reduce homeless numbers. For example, in my terrace of 10 houses, one house is going through probate and another is going through a large scale renovation. 20% non ocupancy seems high until you examine the reasons why. Both will be providing homes in due course, sooner rather than later.
    • My apologies but I can't teach a blind to see yet... may I suggest,  you could try surround yourself with people who see things differently and grow in knowledge and wisdom.
