suzplum
Hi,I wondered if anyone could offer some advice. Im 6 months pregnant and currently suffering from severe lower back pain. This is the third day in a row that its been so bad that I can't walk or sit down comfortably, the only relief is when lying down in bed but not sure that this is going to help long term or make it worse.I've tried various stretches, baths, hot water bottles and going to try and get to the doctors tomorrow but if anyone could recommend anything, or perhaps if anyone knows of a chiropractor that might be able to help that would be fantastic! Thanks :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/88586-advice-on-dealing-with-lower-back-pain-during-pregnancy/ Share on other sites
birnehelene
I went to see a brilliant physio at Dulwich Medical Centre during my second pregnancy. He sorted out my pain in just a couple of sessions. I also saw him after my pregnancy to help with long standing knee pain.http://www.dulwichphysioltd.co.uk/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/88586-advice-on-dealing-with-lower-back-pain-during-pregnancy/#findComment-943796 Share on other sites

nixlo
Hi,I posted on a very similar subject a couple of months ago (and got some good recommendations if you search for it). My back is so much better after seeing Emma at ehphysio.com (on lordship lane) for two rather bruising massage and stretching sessions as well as doing some pregnancy Pilates with jelly bellies. I can actually walk again which is a relief with a two year old. Good luckN Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/88586-advice-on-dealing-with-lower-back-pain-during-pregnancy/#findComment-944281 Share on other sites
edanna
Simon Turgoose, osteopath at the Vale Practice, helped me massively during pregnancy (and before and after). His treatment is very gentle yet effective - I can't recommend him highly enough.
