selloyd
Hello - I have a very shy nine year old who is scared of the water and still can't swim. Does anyone know of any swimming classes where parents can go in with children of this age along with the instructor? Or a private swimming tutor who is very good with reluctant swimmers? Thanks for any advice!Sara Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/89279-swimming-tuition/ Share on other sites
bonaome
Try swimming nature - I know they run lessons up at the queen mother on Vauxhall bridge road. But of a schlep but you can get there on the 185 from ED. ang
We've used the following company and they are brilliant http://www.swimminglessonslondon.co.uk/childrenslessons.htm(give them a call and explain what you are looking for rather than looking at the website for too long- its a bit naff)Paul is extremely good with reluctant swimmers and very patient but all the teachers are goodThey teach using pools up near London bridge . We use the group classes (max of 4 pupils) per group but I've seen then doing 1 to 1 with adults/teenager who are learning for the first time.
