Disturbance on Ondine Road last night (Tuesday)

Being nosey but wondered if anyone knew what the commotion was on Ondine Road at about 4.20am this morning. It sounded like an arrest? Grateful for any information as I'd like to be on alert if it was an attempted burglary.

Noticed some graffiti on a fence on one of the houses which I don't remember being there. There were some council guys scrubbing some off the letting place at the top of the road too. A neighbor said they saw an older gentleman headlocking some 16 year old youth walking up the road. The youth was saying stuff like "help, police" and the older guy was telling him to get on the ground.

All hearsay but would be good to know what happened.

I've noticed a bit of graffiti around ED and this is not a good sign. Heed the 'broken window hypothesis'...

020 7525 5000 - ring it, report it and request it to be cleared, sign a waiver, and the council will remove it. Businesses are included too (thought why so many of them leave it and allow it to collect more and not clear it is beyond me).
