Very excited, ?5.80 off peak zone 3, 9.20 peak.

Cheap option used to be Oyster to Croydon then advance on Southern (not Thameslink). This seems much easier, and nicer to post a good news story rather than my woes of the Elephant and Castle and being bemused by the cyclist haters.

?5 single from East Dulwich/Forest Hill to Gatwick if you book in advance (obviously no flexibility).

Forest Hill or HOP ?5.80/?9.20 single

East Dulwich or Peckham Rye ?6.50/?9.70.

East Croydon ?3.00/?5.20

It can be cheaper to touch out and in again at East Croydon or change at West Croydon for the Overground.

My usual method was a cheap ticket from East Croydon but with the Oyster connectivity no longer worth the effort of doing it in stages.

But my dear reader lots of engineering works currently on the line on Sunday so do avoid flying on that day.
