It's time for a fun and relaxed Thursday classic pub quiz at the Plough in East Dulwich this evening. This popular general knowledge and picture puzzle quiz is only ?1.50 per person to enter and there's a chance to win cash or a bottle of wine if you come second-to-last. There's bonus drinks, sweets and cookies to win too. It's an 8 for 8.30pm start in the left-hand-side bar as you walk into the front of the pub. If you are peckish then you can eat and quiz too with a great new menu. See you tonight!

  ...and so, 4 years on from the "dramatic planning meeting" that approved the "meganursery", how has it all worked out in reality? The building looks nice from the outside - but I don't know anything more. Did either of the nursery businesses on EDG fail because there was no demand for nursery places in East Dulwich? Did Carmageddon on East Dulwich Grove get worse? Were pre-COVID work patterns abandoned forever (lol)?   If I don’t feed the birds, they’ve actually come and perched on the fence and stared directly at me through the window. The squirrels do that too.

  I would recommend Coopers bakehouse, which offer a similar service to B&C but it’s just focussed on really good bread, decent prices and keeps for ages (also freezes well). Delivered by bike.
