Please note. In the last few weeks I've been into the Cherry Tree in my suit after 7.30pm and it has been most welcoming. One evening I even went in with a briefcase (brass hinges) yet still had a great chat with a builder and an off duty fireman. Not only was the service super friendly but the food, booze selection and general diversity was spot on.

Suits fill your boots.

Would they accommodate a Next suit? Asking for a friend.

I've been in the Cherry tree in a suit. I've been in the Cherry tree in hi-viz and boots...( clip-board optional!!) i've been in the Cherry tree in jeans and trainers...never been treated any differently...always friendly and helpful... nice to be important, important to be nice..:)

I do not wear a suit to work - instead opting for slacks (with a neat crease), shirt, and optional knitwear. Sometimes I do not have time to polish my shoes for a couple of weeks.

Do you think I would also be welcome in the Cherry Tree after 7:30pm?

During the old Regime some 10 years ago my mate had his stag night there..

.... He is a bit of a joker and insisted that I presented myself smartly...

.... I obliged by wearing a suit and two ties... Extra smart.. The 'Bouncer' asked me why I was wearing two ties and I

.... explained the situation. He asked me if I was taking the P*** out of him. I said 'No' and I was asked to leave.

You couldn't make that up..

    • Thank you so much for the lovely feedback! We're really glad to hear you were happy with the underfloor heating work and that Sam took great care of everything. I’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to him. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience! — The Trade Hub Team
    • the real question is what to do about it - who to hold accountable and who is actually willing to engage, or will it escalate to residents taking legal action, as with Brockwell Park last year? it could be worth connecting with their group, although I think they are Lambeth, joint forces may be more powerful.
    • I'm sorry to hear this - there is too much of this around. Your son did the right thing to let go of his possessions - I hope he's not too shaken up and certainly not taking it personally, or thinking he should have done something vigilante style like fighting back. We live very close by and are usually out in the evenings with the dogs - hardly ever see anyone so will take extra care from now on.
