jacks09
Only really works for mainline trains but this site is just brilliant in getting your money back.http://www.delayrepaysniper.com/index_test.cfm Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/91807-delay-repay/ Share on other sites
Alan Medic
Given my route is ED to LB with a Monthly ticket, it tells me there were 59 instances where I could have claimed a sum of ?70+. How does this work as I can't possibly have been affected by all 59 delays? jacks09
We've been discussing this in the office. If you travel on a monthly ticket i don't see a way that they can track exactly which journey you were on.I think as long as you're not claiming more than one per day in any direction it becomes untrackable.....unless they can track when you put your ticket through the barrier machines? I'm a big fan of the automation and eas in clawing some money back for an awful service! Loz
I would say that if you claimed for the 7.45, yet your Oyster registered you entering the station at 8.30 you might just get a fraud charge thrown at you. Lowlander
You can check actual train arrival times from the past here http://www.recenttraintimes.co.uk/ and do it all yourself for free.Since you have to be delayed for more than 30 minutes on the mainline it's not often from East Dulwich that you'd be eligible.I've got a point to point season ticket from north Dulwich to London Bridge (?712 pa) and have claimed the paltry sum of ?3 in 2015, I gave up as at 71p a time it's barely worth it Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/91807-delay-repay/#findComment-954173 Share on other sites

Which looks to work out at 2 trains a day out of 130 trains on our route (including weekends). You have to be quite unlucky to get more than one 30 minute+ delay a month. In other words unless you fraudulently submit claims you'd lose money on this website. uncleglen
I bet you lot are the first to complain about fare rises- where do you think they pass these claims onto...London is overcrowded, verging on a 3rd world situation from schools, housing to NHS services, the public transport system is likewise and can only get worse. binkylilyput
Perhaps the claims could come out of their soaring profits....which might motivate them to provide a better service in future?uncleglen Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> I bet you lot are the first to complain about fare> rises- where do you think they pass these claims> onto...London is overcrowded, verging on a 3rd> world situation from schools, housing to NHS> services, the public transport system is likewise> and can only get worse. jacks09
Yes, I am the first to complain about the fare rises. The service gets worse every year. I don't see the issue.
