Damaris teaches a slow flow (vinyasa) yoga class that links mindful movement with the breath. Her classes build strength and stamina while gently stretching and opening the body to help you feel stronger and more spacious within. She pays close attention to healthy alignment to promote optimum physical wellbeing and integrates awareness of the breath to help centre and calm the mind.

Her classes begin with a short relaxation followed by a fluid, energising sequence of standing and sitting poses (asanas) with modifications to ensure the class is accessible to all levels. Breathing practices (pranayama) and meditation are often included and the classes always close with a deep relaxation. Her intention is that you will leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated!

    • Bromley is ok but in the last year, shopping centre now has a lot of security measure due to bags being snatched and assaults in or around area in broad daylight - another area where before, felt fine now more alert.
    • Twenty plus years ago, the centre of Croydon was a fine place to work in, sadly times have changed, the Whitgift centre has gradually fallen to its knees, lots of shop closures and unlikely to be redeveloped given Croydon Councils financial situation.  Always preferred Croydon to Bromley and rarely go to either.

    • My daughter wants to get her ears pierced and I am looking for recent recommendations from experiences locally.  I have heard that Polished use a needle rather than a gun which seems to be the general advice nowadays, but I remember my own experience at a similar age with a piercing gun being quick, easy and problem free.  I'm looking for somewhere that will have the skills to put my child at ease and provide a professional service with proper aftercare advice.  Many thanks
