Boring I know - need a new cordless cleaner

My wonderful GTech has given up the ghost (after a good run and a hard life) and looking for a replacement can see the market has moved on!

I need something to just do a quick daily clean on mainly tiled and wood floors rather than carpets (I have a separate vac), something that has a good battery, picks up well and stores easily.

Any recommendations appreciated xx

We have a dyson hand held. Expensive but worth every penny I think

I second that goldilocks - the dyson animal is so good, worth every penny!

I looked up the dyson hand helds and wondered if the Animal one is worth the Higher price? The other one has a boost facility, which I presume would be good for animal hair.

Ours isn't an animal one, but then we don't have pets. I do have long hair though - it copes but has to be unclogged reasonably frequently!
