Our fun & friendly Wednesday dance night in Dulwich/Herne Hill.


Come join us for a night of dance classes and social dancing in a fun and relaxed environment. Great if you're new to Kizomba or Bachata. Everyones welcome to join us.


7:15pm - Kizomba class (Brockwell Lido)

Kizomba is a beautiful partner dance originating from Angola, Africa. You'll be dancing Kizomba in no time with these fun and easy-to-follow classes.


8:30pm - Bachata class (Florence Pub)

Come enjoy the latin vibe with this class covering the timing, rhythm, steps and partnerwork in Bachata.


9:30-11pm - Social Dancing (Florence Pub)

Chat, have a drink, and practice your new dance moves

Get to know the other friendly people in the class over a glass of wine or beer and have fun with the new moves you just learnt in this free practice time.

    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
