Resonance FM Fundraiser Friday 19th Feb

The Relatively Good Radio Show presents...

A fundraiser for London's only Arts radio station, Resonance 104.4 FM - and now DAB!

Featuring station regulars The Relatives - south London based urban country ska outfit currently making a noise in the alt folk scene, joined by another SE musical Jewel - The Discount Orchestra. With Dj Anne Frankenstein spinning the discs. And special guests...

A great billing and an easy way to support Resonance - which has 3 paid staff and 400 volunteers.

The station relies on charitable donations to keep it working and running. Do come along for an evening of quality entertainment for probably the worlds most eclectic radio station - which continues to thrive in these cash strapped times - but we still need your help!

It's only ?10! All proceeds to Resonance FM

    • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be. The article contained: "That arrest had quite an impact on the [phone theft] numbers for the following month,” said Green.  Here's another indicator, admittedly a piece of police PR,  of how well-targeted police efforts, mostly invisible to us,  can when successful  seriously affect offending figures: https://news.met.police.uk/news/met-police-drive-down-theft-and-robbery-by-84-percent-in-battersea-and-nine-elms-500495.
    • Another excellent article from Jim Waterson's London Centric reporting https://www.londoncentric.media/p/kitchen-foil-and-algerian-markets?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Interesting that there seem to be favoured and repeated routes for phone snatching for particular thieves.  Seems ED might be one of them ☹️
    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces. Access to East Croydon for days out in the South Coast
