retrieving data from blackberry mob

Help! Think I need an electronic super whizz kid? I need to find someone who can get my blackberry to switch on, so that I can retrieve my data. ried conventional channels but they can only offer to fix my phone but erase the data in the process...any ideas?? Thanks

When you say switch it on what exactly do you mean, I've got one and when it crashes I just take the battery out put it straight back in and bingo.

nope tried all that in the past...used to work, but just crashed and died just before I could upload the data...thanks anyway..

It depends where the data is stored. My guess is it would be on the memory card underneath the battery. You just need to find a card reader to read one of those Mini-SD things.

yep, that may have worked if I had a memory card in it at the time...although I was told only photos etc are stored on the memory card with blackberry (how crap is that!) all contacts can only be stored by backing them up. Thanks anyway
