Hi there, my son-in-law who live in bexleyheath urgently needs a manual driving instructor, as his one keeps letting him down and his test is middle of next week. His instructor either doesn't turn up but doesn't ring to say why or turns up and says he can only do half the lesson due to he's got to take wife shopping or double books etc. my son-in-law rang him yesterday to remind him that a lesson is booked for today (Sunday) only then did his instructor tell him that his car is in a garage and won't be looked at till Monday and said u will just have to ring round and get someone else as I don't know if car will be ready by for ur test. Hopefully someone will be able to help.

I used this forum to find a driving instructor for my husband and ended up going with Silvano (Silvano Bozza ([email protected], 07702 615 834)because he came highly recommended. My husband was really impressed with him and has asked me to post the following:

Silvano is excellent - I cannot recommend him highly enough. I finally learned to drive at 33 years old to make life easier with two young children. He seemed dedicated not only to helping me pass my test but to ensuring that I learned to drive safely and to a very high standard. As a result I passed first time with only one minor fault. His rates were very reasonable and excellent value for money considering the quality of instruction. He was also very flexible, accommodating lessons around my work and family commitments. And, he is a lovely guy so a real pleasure to learn with.

    • I haven't had a rude EVRI delivery but last week I had an unexpected delivery at 10.42 pm. He didn't ring the bell or knock on the door (or rattle the letter flap) but just took a photo and put the box down.  If it hadnt been for the door camera giving us a beep we would never have known there was a parcel ready to sit there all night.

    • I have a rescue Spanish greyhound (galgo) from the charity mentioned above. You can contact Greyhounds in Need or one of the more local Kent greyhound rescue charities. They are fantastic family dogs. They do love walkies 2 or 3 times a day but they actually don't need to be walked too far and then they will happily loaf around on the sofa being very chill. They are brilliant with kids but not recommended if you own a cat as they have a strong prey drive. They also should be kept on the lead in local parks. They prefer to be around other sight-hounds (well my one does) and there are loads of local sighthound owners in Peckham, Crystal Palace etc and a very lively WhatsApp group that is brilliant if you need dog sitting as you can usually find someone to do that for free in return for you looking after the dog at a later date etc.
