bubbachumps
We need to travel to Kings Cross tomorrow morning with lots of luggage with a baby. We are not planning to take our car seat on the trip but all the cab companies tell me we have to travel with the baby on our lap as they don't provide car seats. I have not done this before and am a bit worried about it! Half tempted to take the car seat but with a buggy and all our luggage as well as older child I'm just not sure we will have any capacity! We are going to Scotland so it will be too cold to use the car seat on the buggy. Any advice gratefully received! Pickle
Could you book a black cab? That way baby can be strapped into the buggy and then restrained by a seatbelt in the same way a wheelchair is. That's how we used to do it for trips to Heathrow when our children were smaller. gebbjane
Try rye cars - they have car seats. Always found them reliable.http://www.ryecars.com/services.html Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/94508-taxis-and-car-seat/#findComment-962159 Share on other sites
