crompo123
Hi-i wondered if anyone goes to st johns church on goose green with a small child and can advise me....i havent been to church since i moved to london around 6 years ago, and want to start again now my daughter is getting old enough to benefit from it...i just wondered how easy it is on a practical level to bring her-- ie can i bring my buggy/is there anywhere to leave it, is there anywhere to go with here if(when) she gets fidgety etc?i read on the church's website that there is a sunday school, but she's only just turned 2, perhaps she's too young?any advise much appreciated! ceebeebee
Within the church there's a children's area at the back with toys and books (although its also full of notices that children should sit quietly!). If you sit in this area, you can nip out the back into the atrium where the toilets are. You leave your buggy there, and there is also a creche, you can volunteer to help in the creche! EmilyE
Also, on the first Sunday of every month there is a children's service at 11, as well as the normal one at 10. Perhaps a 2 year old wouldn't get much out of it, but there are plenty of children that age who go.
