I'm manging in my little automatic corsa ok, just take it slow, use 2nd gear to take off or just let the car crawl off in drive from a stop so u don't spin the wheeels, not sure I'd be so keen on trying to park on some of the more icy roads though. Landells is pretty much iced over, Crystal Palace isn't too bad.
Had the same problem. Slid down to bottom and just came to a stop as a family with little ones with sledge were strolling across the road. Phew! Funny how people are much more relaxed about crossing when there is snow on the ground. Cars are going much more slowly but are less in control.

I've been fully in control of my car on all roads around ED. I just takes a different driving technique. However, I've been avoiding use of the Vespa until recently, as it's a completely different ball game with 2 wheels!

I actually find it great fun when the roads are a little slippy, but it obviously requires greater awareness. It's a good way to increase your skills and understand about how your car handles.

    • Where are the far left in all of this flag business? Thats a red herring  there is the far right leading this nonsense, a lot of people following them who claim to be ordinary people (but very little digging and oh guess what) and them there is everyone else (right, centre, left) opposing them    there is no “both-sides” on this
    • Deleted as I've just repeated what has already been said!
    • That is hilarious (not really) but what about all the copious parking for e-bikes and scooters?
    • How beautifully ironic, the article says mobs putting flags up are roaming the streets shouting "Sieg Heil" the cry of our enemy in ww2 determined to take our sovereignty away.  Its almost moronic. I saw something the other day that discussed how the medoa highlights the opposing ends of the situation, with the extreme right at one end and the far left at the other. What it mention are the ordinary people in the middle who don't support either extremes but still have genuine views that are being ignored by the media.
