FOUND!! : ) Lost Cat - I may be seen shining torches into gardens this evening

Recommended Posts

FOUND SAFE AND WELL!!!

Our large black and white old cat has gone missing from Lordship Lane. I'll be searching for him this evening when traffic dies down a little. I'll be searching North Cross Road, Townley Road, Dulwich Library, Lordship Lane area, and you may see me shining a torch into gardens, under cars etc. Please do feel free to call my mobile or talk to me if you want to confirm what I'm doing. I thought it worthwhile letting people know so they don't worry.

In case you see him, my cat has a distinctive large scar across his back and a broken tail which droops at the end. He also has a torn right ear tip.

He's an ex-stray, hence the injuries. He hasn't ventured our of our garden before and he is not very agile at all, so we want him home and warm asap.

HUGE thanks to our neighbour, who after seeing our "Lost" notice, checked and found him hiding under a tarp in their garden, soaked, scared and disorientated but SAFE! So relieved.

The moral of the story: NEVER follow girls out your catflap!

Hi Tams

That won't be our boy. He doesn't usually leave the house. This was a real one off. However right above this post is another couple looking for a lost b/w cat. It may be him. Have a look and perhaps get in touch as its so worrying losing a pet.

    • I know people won’t have any sympathy but the SEND challenge was brought up when taxing parents who have opted for independent school to meet a child’s SEND needs. Funding crisis is getting worse and the VAT on Education pushed children out of independent schools, now their SEND needs are to be met by the state.
    • I completely agree with you - and last night was really terrible where I am. Between midnight and 1am was the worst, where it genuinely felt like a war zone. I had to run out of my house to try and stop a grown man setting them off in open space right by our front doors. In response he went to throw a half lit one at me and then seemed to think better of it. I am so sad at how bad the situation has got here and how selfish people are. Fireworks are bad for the environment and for pets and wildlife, as well as just being unnecessary noise for people too. I have sent an email today to Helen Hayes, which I have done previously on this issue. Would advise anyone to write to your MP to do the same, and to ask them to engage with the debates scheduled for 19 Jan.
    • And they started long before midnight!
    • First mate - I wondered if I was imagining things at 4.45 this morning . Apparently not .
